Before we read your manuscript, we need you to confirm that it is yours to give us. By submitting, you confirm that: 1. You wrote this work, you own it, and you have the authority to publish it with us. 2. It is original, and you have not given another publisher a conflicting right to it. 3. It does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, or other right. 4. Every piece of third-party material in it — quotations, photographs, illustrations, song lyrics, and Scripture quoted beyond what the translation's publisher allows without permission — is either your own, in the public domain, quoted within fair use, or used with a permission you can produce if asked. 5. Every quotation you attribute to a named person is accurate and correctly attributed. 6. Nothing in it is defamatory, invades anyone's privacy, or is unlawful. If any of this is not yet true — a photograph you have not cleared, a quotation you are unsure of — tell us in the form rather than here. We would far rather sort it out now than discover it after the book is printed.
